April Fools!
Daniel and I continued my families tradition for April Fool's Day: strange and unusual place settings! We don't mess with the food, just what one eats the food with. I created a bag of each person's place setting so that it would be a surprise when they sat down. Sometimes I have a theme in mind as I'm picking out things: teeny-tiny (doll saucer for a plate; toothpick for a fork); giant (cutting board for a plate; meat cleaver, knife); or tea party themed. This time, though, I didn't theme each bag.

I was substitute teaching on April 1 and no one played a trick on me! Strange. But I did write March 32nd on the board and when noticed I said "April fools!"
Love your blog, Greta!
